Our last post dealt with Vivisection of Fealty and how it works in the living arena.
There isn't an alternative to that fierce sincerity, nor to the direct shared experience of full loyalty from the heart.
Likewise within the demands of a Movement and the requisite orders of history that must be fulfilled, cruelty is non-negotiable.
What is cruelty as defined by the Company? What does our Movement mean when we demand cruelty, foster cruelty, and more importantly explicitly teach the grave levers of cruelty to our men and to the individuals, organizations, and institutions we bear responsibility for engaging and raising under authority?
We will examine it here, and you will be required to think clearly and carefully.
You will be required to advance and deepen understanding, for without that devolution of illusion and reduction to cold reality you will always remain defeated.
There isn't another way. Men who refuse to advance in heart, mind, and hand are not useful to themselves, nor to the tides of history that above all things do not grant pity.
So what is cruelty?
Do you shrink from cruelty, or consider it an evil?
Do you fear cruelty, despite the brutal natural order of this relativistic universe?
Are you afraid of reality?
Does it challenge you?
Good. Fear is awareness of gap; appreciation of insufficiency; and warning to the organism that it is behind the curve of survival that does not take prisoners nor grant mercy.
Do you have gaps?
Do you fear the State?
Does the Leviathan make you tremble, and drive you ahead of its own prerogatives and assiduously cultivated evils of dominance and cruelty upon Men?
When it does, remember the most profound truth of things:
Heaven has principles, where Men have natures.
The Bansenshukai does not stint in recognition nor adherence to reality.
Cruelty applies both as principle and to natures, for reality is never not cruel in its clarity and inexorable march.
Reality never hesitates, but flows and flowers ceaselessly without restraint.
Men who would uphold and advance their conscience, freedom, and dignity in the face of totalitarian wrath must decide on bravery in the face of things, not least before the horror that States perpetuate upon the innocents in their way.
Cruelty is how wars are ended.
Cruelty is how justice is delivered.
Cruelty is nothing more than full explication of duty, and failure to do your duty out of fear is referred to as cowardice.
A prosecutor is cruel; he does not stop until there is no more crime to be found. And he cares not upon whom the weight of justice falls, in direct proportion to his purity of heart.
A sniper is cruel; his execution of mission is not beholden to pity or remonstrance of unfairness in complete and clinical achievement of operational orders.
A combat medic in triage on the field is cruel; he does not hesitate to consign the unsalvageable to inevitable death that cannot be prevented in order to succor and sustain those for whom survival is possible.
There is no evil in these things, nor malevolence; only the fulfillment of duty before God in fulfillment of sacred purpose.
This purity of heart, what the ninja refer to as magokoro, is your guard and prevention of the sadism that fear all too often provokes in the weak, the stupid, and the afraid.
If your weakness is not extirpated, your nature will lead to cowardice.
If your stupidity is not excised, your nature will lead to collapse.
If your fear is not accepted as gift of provocation to advancement, you will commit the grossest sadism possible upon yourself, your legacy, and your people:
Defeat, desecration, and death.
Learned helplessness and cowardice are inseparable. The command of The Nine Laws to Get up and walk! is profound recognition of this, and exhortation to the bravery inherent in those who face reality despite their fear.
Do you fail to trust that the Way of Heaven is good, in full accordance with its Will?
Do you refuse to put on the whole Armor of God, that in the end, having done all, you may stand?
Do you negotiate with evil?
And therein is the most important reality that underlies the cruelty of the Company value:
No parley, no quarter.
Evil desires your acquiescence; it seeks and lusts and covets your self-slaughter because sadism is its only nature.
Evil demands your fear, not from duty but because abrogation of duty adds flavor of humiliation to the dish of subjugation you offer.
You must be cruel against evil, and against the mortal sins within you that inevitably cause derangement and collapse.
You must be cruel against the whines and lactations of Men who seek reinforcement and preservation of their meanness and insufficiencies, as they gobble into conscience, freedom, and dignity.
You must be cruel.
You will otherwise lose.
Evil will win, for it needs no respite nor desires any; only the inevitable wash of faltered spirits that are your nature.
Thereby recognize cruelty as principle, within your nature to wield or suffer, and never mistake that full ownership of outcome belongs solely and irrevocably to you.
Cruelty masters desires.
Cruelty offers hope.
Cruelty accords with reality.
Fight with your eyes open, for knowledge of truth, acceptance of truth, and action on truth is what delivers hope based on truth.
That hope in true vision is what drives the Movement.
That acceptance of duty is what empowers absolute victory.
Your delivery of cruelty is what history demands without excuse or forbearance on behalf of evil.
